FAQ

We live and work in very different locations, is tele-coaching an option and how does it work?

Absolutely yes. All I ask is that you find a space where you can sit and move around that is free of any distractions and come equipped with a mobile phone with WhatsApp (or an equivalent tool that allows phone conversations), a full battery, a head-set, paper and coloured pens. Also have a glass or water and whatever else you need to ensure your comfort during the session.

How is coaching different from therapy?

My coaching approach focuses on getting you from where you are to where you want to be. If events from the past come up we won't unpack them - we'll explore how these events can be used as a resource to achieve your goals.

My role is to understand your goals and help you get there. A therapist is responsible for diagnosing and coming up with methods to heal their patients.

Do I need a coach?

If you want to change something and you're not sure how to go about it, coaching can enable you to get a different perspective and discover new possibilities. It can also transform your energy and focus to make the change. If you find yourself in a position where someone is recommending you get a coach, ask yourself: "Am I ready? Am I willing to change? Do I want to change something in my life?" If the answer is "Yes", then you have answered the question.

What assessment tools do you work with?

I have worked with many assessment tools including Everything DISC ®, MBTI, Insights MDI ®, StrengthsFinder ®. If you are interested in taking an assessment, let's talk to find out what you want to learn about yourself.
