The History of Myriart Consulting

2008 was the first time my husband and I decided to make a big change in our lives. He left his corporate job running an agency in Switzerland to work on a passion project focused on renovations and art. During its infancy, as he was exploring all the possibilities, we came up with the name "Myriart" - an amalgamation of the English words: "myriad", meaning "an indefinitely great number or innumerable"*, and "art", meaning "the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance."*

When I started to take on new clients in 2017, I focused my messaging on the endless possibilities that can be opened up. Having spent most of my adult life living in a German-speaking country, it seemed fitting to find a name that has some German roots. On the same morning, both my husband and I independently came up with the idea to adopt the name "myriart" for a consulting business. The German word: "Art" means "way, method or manner". It captures the essence of the business in so many ways and the synchronicity told me, it is meant to be.
